Boon Kai (Ben) Tong
President of Technology and Finance
Hello everyone! My name is Boon Kai Tong (Ben), and I’m a junior at Plano West High School. This is my fourth year with COT and my second year serving as President of Technology and Finance. I’ve always had a strong passion for technology, problem-solving, and finding better ways to get things done. At COT, I help keep our digital platforms running smoothly, support the team when technical issues come up, and explore new tools and ideas that can improve how we communicate and engage with our community. I really enjoy being able to use my interest in technology to contribute to an organization that means a lot to me. Outside of COT, I’m a competitive chess player and an avid board gamer. I also volunteer to help Chinese-speaking students improve their English, and I enjoy swimming and playing chess with my brother, Bryan. I’m excited to continue growing as a leader, taking on new challenges, and helping COT strengthen its technology capabilities. Most importantly, I look forward to working with everyone to make a positive impact on our community.

Hi, I’m Tony, the president of program planning this year! I’m a rising senior from New York, and I like to play tennis and listen to music. I’ve been volunteering at COT for almost 4 years, and I’m looking forward to volunteering at COT for my final year!

Emma is a sophomore at Jasper High School and serves as the President of Operations and Logistics. In this role, she oversees communication, class assignments, and other responsibilities to ensure everything runs smoothly. She enjoys teaching English to all ages of students. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and crafts.
Rachel is currently a senior in high school. As President of Marketing, she supervises outreach and the recruitment of new members. In her free time, Rachel creates sculptures, plays video games, crochets, and practices her instruments.
Michelle Tang

Michelle Tang is a senior at Liberty High School. As President of Human Resources and Administration, Michelle oversees the logistical aspects of COT involving documentation and applications, fundraising, event planning, hour verifications, and more. Her goal is to continue streamlining COT organizational performance and grow the organization to help even more students across the world. Having been involved in COT for four years, Michelle is excited to lead the HR team this year and continue teaching her students weekly. Outside of COT, Michelle enjoys photography, playing the cello, watching documentaries, and hanging out with her friends.
