    COT Advisor

    As a former president of the Program Planning and Development Division and a current member of the Board of Advisors, Julia assists COT on a purposeful journey of creating true impact and connection with students and volunteers from all around the world. She also teaches weekly classes in an innovative manner, striving to create an uplifting learning environment for those in need. In her free time, Julia enjoys reading, playing piano, and spending time with her dog

  • Sally Wang

    President of Program Planning & Developing

    As the President of Program Planning and Development at COT, Sally is in charge of editing the weekly curriculums, distributing monthly syllabi, and managing the work of her fellow officers. Sally also teaches weekly classes, and she strives to provide curriculums of high quality to help students find greater meaning in learning different aspects of the English language. Outside of COT, Sally enjoys drawing and practicing piano.

  • Melody Guo

    Vice President of Program Planning & Developing

    As one of the vice presidents of the program planning and development department of COT, Melody designs the syllabus for the adult group and edits the weekly slides for the adult classes as well. In addition to that, she also hosts weekly classes. She hopes that through these sessions the students will learn English in a fun and interactive way. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano and creating art.

    Vice President of Program Planning & Developing

    As one of the vice presidents of Program planning & Development, I create the monthly syllabus along with the other vice presidents, and edit the weekly created curriculums for the elementary group. In addition I also teaches elementary and senior classes every week. Through Citizens Of Tomorrow I hope that I can help others improve and grow their English speaking skills, and letting them think that learning English can be really fun. Outside of COT, I enjoy painting, reading, and spending time with my two parakeets.

    Director of Elementary Program Developing and Design

    As a Director of Elementary Program Developing and Design, Rachel is responsible for creating curriculum for the elementary students alongside weekly teaching sessions. She hopes to spread the joy of learning a new language to international English learners through the COT program. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys practicing the flute or working on new art pieces. She is looking forward to a great year with COT!

    For as long as I can remember, I've been invested in helping others- from hosting mini DIY circus fairs as a kid when my mom was feeling down, to tutoring classmates, and now teaching english to a range of folks. Together with my public speaking, creativity, and presentation skills, I'm so excited to contribute in uplifting the COT community.

    As one of the Directors of the Teen Program, I design and create slides for teenage students. I am passionate about helping students improve their English skills, and through Citizens of Tomorrow, I hope to make learning English fun and exciting. I teach weekly classes and strive to create an engaging learning environment. In my free time, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and baking.

  • Kanika Rahalkar

    Director of Adult Program Developing and Design

    As the Director of Adult Program Developing and Design, Kanika creates curriculum-based slides for the adult students once a month. She also teaches the adult students twice a week and hopes that she can help them learn a new language while growing their confidence. In her free time, Kanika enjoys volunteering at a local hospital, biking around her neighborhood, and completing the daily NYT Wordle and crossword.

    My name is Lochna and I’m a sophomore in Reedy High School. I like to play the cello and be apart of orchestra! In my free time, I love to draw, hang out with friends, and play volleyball!

    Hi, I’m Sophie! I am very excited to be an officer for COT! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to contribute more to this organization. I have enjoyed teaching students English for the past 2 years and can’t wait to be a part of the program development department. I will work hard to make our classes even more fun! In my free time, I enjoy playing piano, playing violin, playing volleyball, and baking. I look forward to working with the other officers to create a successful and fun year at COT!
